Borg Equipment & Supply is committed to protecting your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you shop with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What We Collect
When you place an order, we collect the information needed to fulfill it: your name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, and order details. If you contact us for support or a quote, we collect what you share with us in that request.
We do not collect or store your full credit card number. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe, and you can also pay with PayPal; both handle your payment details directly under their own security and privacy practices.
Like most websites, we also use cookies and Google Analytics to see which pages you visit, how you found the site, and how long you stayed, so we can improve the shopping experience. You can review Google's own privacy practices at their Privacy Center.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process and ship orders, provide customer support, calculate California sales tax at checkout, and, unless you opt out, to send you order updates and occasional marketing about products and promotions.
How We Protect Your Information
Our site uses encrypted (SSL) connections for checkout, and payment data is handled by Stripe and PayPal rather than stored on our servers. Access to customer data we do retain (orders, contact details) is restricted to staff who need it to do their jobs.
Sharing Your Information
We share order information with the shipping carriers needed to quote and deliver your package (FedEx and USPS, with USPS rates calculated through Wix's rate provider, Shippo, from your address and the package weight), and with our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal) to complete your transaction. We may share aggregate, non-identifying statistics (like overall traffic or sales patterns) with trusted vendors. We disclose account information beyond this only when we believe in good faith it's necessary to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, staff, or customers. We do not sell your personal information.
Your Choices
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link, or by contacting us. You can also decline non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
Do Not Track. Our site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals; the analytics described above run the same way whether or not the signal is sent.
California Residents
If you are a California resident, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask us not to sell or share it (which, as noted above, we do not do). We honor these requests regardless of whether a particular law requires it, we will not treat you differently for making one, and we keep order records only as long as tax and accounting rules require. To make a request, contact us using the information below; we will confirm your identity against your order details before releasing anything.
