About this part

The 35040 is a Specialty Products torque arm shim for I.H.C. and Navistar trucks, 1/32 inch thick and sold in a pack of 6. Installed between the torque arm and the spring hanger, it changes thrust angle and toe during heavy duty tandem axle alignment. On Navistar trucks the shims can also be used on the lateral link to center the axle with the frame rails. Some shops ask for it as an IHC Navistar shim.
