Radial Tire Bead Seaters

One-piece rubber tube for mounting hard-to-seat radial, bias belted or conventional truck tires. As tire is inflated, the lubricated bead seater forms a seal between the rim and tire allowing the air pressure to the force the beads into the rim flange. As proper pressure is reached, the bead seater slides out and over the rim.

The Haltec PC-5 is a passenger radial tire bead seater for 18 in. rims, sold as one. It is a one-piece rubber tube for mounting hard-to-seat radial, bias belted or conventional truck tires. As the tire is inflated, the lubricated seater forms a seal between the rim and tire so air pressure pushes the beads into the rim flange, and it slides out over the rim at the proper pressure.
